Once you have paid for your e-book(s) you will receive one or more emails containing links for the book(s) you purchased. If you are reading on a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone, the easiest way to save the file is to open the email on the device. Click, right-click or tap the link. You should be presented with several options, one of which is to open the link in the Kindle app. The book should open in Kindle and be added to the Documents section of your library.

If you wish to have your e-book purchase(s) available on all your Kindle devices/apps, go to amazon.com and search the help section for "send-to-kindle-email address." You can learn your send-to-Kindle email address and how to allow deliveries from your personal email address.
